Hi there viewers, today Im going to talk about polyclinics nowadays getting "stingy" on MCs, not critisizing them but rather just hoping if they somehow came upon my post, will get to know how patients feels when they are really going to them in hope of getting the right medication at a much lower prices and also MCs which will prove that they are sick and unfit for work for the day so as to not get fired cos they are sick-for a day or two?!?*some employers are really hardcore, thats what i can say *.
Put aside those people who chao geng, meaning to polyclinics only to get an excuse from work or school , though I admit I did that before, there are actually a large group of people truely sick, but they are somehow seen otherwise by the doctors.
True story- my own experience: There was once i catch a cold which get me a fever, and have no choice only to visit the nearest polyclinics. Upon seeing the doctor, he asked me whether im a student or currently working, and i replied him NSF, he straight away asked me why am i out here when its like late noon, then i explain to him Im out cos i went on a medical appointment previously and my cold got worst, thats why I hope to get a MC for the next day, as well as getting the right medication *truely who will want to book in to camp when he is having a fever?!?*, and he refused to believe what I had told him, and he just said no to me at the end of the consultation when i eventually mention about the MC. That moment i was wondering if he really regard me as a normal patient when he got to know that Im a NSF? *though its true that we enjoy privileges such as free consultation from polyclinics* Cos from his tone, the moment he knew Im a NSF, he thinks Im one of those who chao geng, which I did'nt. My nose was blocked and he heard my voice, its so obvious that Im not feeling well, whats more when my temperature is 37.8 degrees celsius back then, *though its a slight fever, its still a fever*. At the end of the day, my fever got worst, especially when it reaches midnight, and all i can do is to take his medicine and keep drinking water and endure till the next morning. Its a bad experience, thus i hope doctors don't try to classify their patient, cos they are the one suffering, not you, no offense in the posting but hope to get a clearer perspective on patients upon the doctors. Doctors are meant to cure patients, thats what we are told, aren't we.
So do like my post, if you guys agree with me =]tyvm.
