inconsistency in pricing?!

Hey guys, today I'm out at Toa Payoh and i came by the Mac there. I decide to settle down to lunch over at Mac. After ordering my food, i discover that the price is a little more than what I have to pay at other branch for the same order. I'm a little confused.

"Shouldn't the price be all the same for all the Branch?"
"Since the food portion and type is the same.."

I tried asking google why and this is what i get, Google says,
"Prices can vary widely between shops because distributors are not obliged to follow each product’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP). This is especially true for small retailers, who may be more flexible if approached for a discount."

Though the price difference is not really big, probably less than a dollar, but i think that if it is to standardize the price for the food, customer will be more clear on the price of the food they have ordered. F&B industries speaks nothing more than serving their customers well, making sure customers are satisfied with the service and the food.

Thus i believe if all the branch were to display the price of the food clearly on the display board, and be consistent throughout all the branches, it may attract more customers. In business, honesty is the best policy, isn't it.
